I hope everyone is well. Here’s a look at what's coming up this week, 10/06-10/10. Please make sure to read all important information to avoid questions that are clearly stated on all emails. I would greatly appreciate it! If you missed my email last week, you can check out my school blog; http://www.stanthonygardena.org/third-grade/
Thank you for joining us at our class social last night! It was such a fun evening, and it was really nice to see everyone together outside of school. I truly appreciate you taking the time to come, especially with your busy schedules. A special thank-you to our room moms for organizing this event and helping make it such a success! Deadlines:
Oct 27th -1st trimester Mass reflection (5 mass reflections)
Mask in Class Many students in our class have recently been coughing and sneezing, and we want to do our best to keep everyone healthy. To help prevent the spread of illness, I kindly ask that you send your child to school with a mask. If I notice or hear your child coughing during class, I will provide them with a mask to wear.
Labubus or Any Valuable Items There was a recent concern regarding students bringing Labubus or other stuffed keychains/animals of sentimental or monetary value to school. While I understand that these items may be special to the students, I don’t want these items getting lost or possibly stolen. I have already spoken to the class about this matter and reminded them not to bring such items to school. To avoid future problems, I kindly ask that these valuable or personal belongings be kept at home. Please note that the school and classroom will not be liable if these items if lost or stolen.
10/6-10/10 NOON DISMISSAL (PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE) This week will be noon dismissal, daycare is offered from 12-6pm. I sent reminder cards last Wednesday 10/1. Each family is given 15 mins time slot, if you arrive 5 mins late, you will be rescheduled to the next available schedule. I will be discussing your child’s STAR test results, OR (Onward Readers) assessments and progress report. With that being said, any missing/incomplete homework will reflect on your child’s grades.
Please check Gradelink if your child is missing any homework and reach out to me directly if you have any concerns or questions. Please keep in mind that the progress report is just a snapshot of where your child is at right now. Final Grades will be given at the end of the 1st trimester.
