Blessed Sunday! Today, we kick off Catholic Schools Week!
SAP friends and families are invited to join us for our All-School Mass on Sunday, January 25 at 11:00 AM, followed by Open House from 12:00–2:00 PM.
Students who wear their formal Mass uniform will receive a FREE dress pass. Please see your homeroom teacher to receive your pass. Folklorico students will receive their passes as well.

Catholic Schools’ Week Activities Monday, January 26 • Parent Appreciation Day • Cozy Day (No pajamas) • Coffee and donuts for parents during morning carline Tuesday, January 27 • Student Appreciation Day • Class Color Day (8th Grade – Pink), may wear jean bottoms. • Pep Rally in the Hall Wednesday, January 28 • Administration Appreciation Day • Sports Attire Thursday, January 29 • Teacher Appreciation Day • Disney Day (wear appropriate Disney attire) Friday, January 31 • Special Persons’ Day • Formal Mass Uniform / Sunday Best • No bags or devices • Bring snacks (early recess) and lunch if staying for daycare • No lunch service provided • Noon dismissal
Special Persons’ Day Friday is noon dismissal and Special Persons’ Day. Students may be checked out beginning at 9:45 AM to attend Mass.
During Mass: • Students with a special person may sit behind our class • If students have younger siblings, families may sit behind the sibling’s class • Students without a special person will remain with the teacher
Students are free to leave after Mass once they are officially checked out. Please note that once students are checked out, parents/guardians are responsible for their supervision. Kindly avoid going in and out of the church during Mass. Students should use the restroom and get water beforehand.
Other Important Information Lunch with Msgr. Pilato & Fr. Pirrone Each year, Msgr. Pilato and Fr. Pirrone host a special lunch for our 8th grade students. Please note that the lunches scheduled for February 6 and February 9 have been cancelled. Students who were scheduled on these dates have been reassigned to different lunch dates.

Presentation & Discussion Re: Human Sexuality & Relationships In February, Mr. Rubalcava, Mr. Aguilar, Mrs. Dyogi, and I will be presenting lessons on Human Sexuality and Relationships to our 8th grade students. These presentations will be offered in separate men’s and women’s sessions and will be guided by Catholic moral teaching. The lessons will emphasize the dignity of the human person, the sanctity of marriage, and the virtue of chastity. Our goal is to support the spiritual, moral, and emotional development of your child in accordance with our shared Catholic values. While it is always the responsibility of parents and guardians to provide instruction in human reproduction for their children, the school partners with families to provide a formal family life curriculum in accordance with the guidance and policies of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The scheduled presentations and discussions are offered to all 8th grade students. As parents and guardians, you have the right to choose whether your child participates in these lessons.
