The first day of school is on Tuesday, August 19th and the Tardy Bell rings at 7:50am. Unfortunately , parents are NOT allowed inside the classroom when the bell rings. Please prepare yourself and your children for separation — we will be here to help assist you all!The first week of school is FREE DRESS, so uniforms are not required but encouraged if you already have them! There is also a 12:00pm dismissal all week for all grades K-8th with day care provided if needed.
**DAY CARE WILL BE PROVIDED THIS WEEK FROM 12:00P-6:00P***All-School Morning Assembly 7:50am in front of St. Jude Statue
The bell rings at 7:50am. All students must be in the Kindergarten Line by the bell. We will be walking to the St. Jude Statue with the class to meet the whole school for our 1st Day of School Morning Assembly. Please do NOT congregate near the student lines and refrain from walking with the students during this time, I understand it may be difficult! The school gates close at 8:05am, after the assembly the class will go straight into the classroom — no parents allowed!Kindergarten Snack 10:00a
Although we have a minimum day 12:00p dismissal, we still have snack/recess at 10:00am. Please be sure to send your child to school with their water bottles and lunchboxes with a SNACK! You will see our Kindergarten Carts outside with labels on where their lunchboxes and water bottles go!Green Homework Folders
Students should have picked up their GREEN HOMEWORK FOLDERS at our meet and greet on Friday! This is an important item for daily use. Every morning, there is a white cart in front of our classroom where students will take their folders out of their backpacks and place them into the cart EVERY MORNING.Kinder 2nd Week of School - 12:00p Dismissal
While the rest of the school begins their full day, Kindergarten still have 12:00p dismissal for the 2nd week of school. They will also need to be wearing their full uniform by the 2nd week! Student pick-up will be from the Hall on 163rd Street located at the main gate of the school.I can’t wait to meet you!
