Dear Kinder Families,
Happy 26th Week of Kindergarten! This is our last week for the 2nd Trimester! Great job to our class for all their hard work, I am so proud of their growth and achievements!
Gradelink was blocked on Friday, Feb 28 so that teachers can conclude their grades. You will not be able to view their grades until report cards are sent out and when the 3rd Trimester Begins!
Please carefully review this week's newsletter!
SAP HundredX Fundraiser!
Our annual HundredX fundraiser kicked off today! This is a fun and easy opportunity that we can raise funds for our school without having to buy anything! Fill out as many surveys for different categories to earn $$ for our school! Last year, Kinder was one of the top classes -- let's WIN this year! Keep an eye out for emails from our PLC team regarding how to sign up and raise funds!
Make sure you sign up for "KINDERGARTEN"!
Kindergarten Lenten Project
We are partnering with 5th grade and Pauly's Project to create sets for the homeless. Kindergarten is asked to bring TRAVEL SIZED TOOTHBRUSHES AND TOOTHPASTE! I will be collecting items every day until March 5th!
SAP Book War (Book Drive)
As a school, we are collecting books to revamp our school library. Many of our books are old, damaged, or out dated! If you have space to donate books, we are having a contest for each grade level! As you enter school each day, you can see the BOOK WAR BULLETIN BOARD located outside the main office. At the end of each day, I will be adding all the books collected per grade level to see which grade level can be filled the quickest! The top 50 STUDENTS to donate 3 OR MORE books will be added to a list and will receive a prize. The TOP CLASS will receive a class prize!
I have created a google doc to track our class donations and even a Kindergarten Book list for assistance. Of course, any appropriate grade level book that is new or in good condition, is more than welcomed!
