Kinder Week 37

Hello Kinder Families!

Happy 37th Week of Kindergarten! We are down to the last 12 days of Kindergarten! Please carefully read through this email, we have a lot of events coming up! 

Monday, May 25th - No School, Memorial Day
School will also be closed next Monday, for Memorial Day. 

SAP Class Musicals
Our Class has been practicing with their music Teacher, Mrs. Garcia for our musical. We will be performing the "American Symbols" On Wednesday, May 27^th, 2026, from 8:30-10:30am in the Hall we will have our shows for Kinder, 2^nd and 4^th. 
Please save the date so you can come watch your little one perform! Please check your child's costume requirements based on what their role in the play (Please see previous email about costumes).

Friday, May 29th - 12:00p Dismissal
There is a 12:00p dismissal on Friday, 5/29 for our 2026 SAP Musical. Tickets are now available for The Lion King Jr. We would love for you to join us and see the show on any of our performances: Thursday, May 28th at 7pm (Hakuna Cast), Friday, May 29th at 7pm (Matata Cast), or Saturday, May 30th 1pm (Matata) or 7pm (Hakuna). We have two great casts so consider joining us for multiple shows! You can also share the link and information with family and friends. 

Kinder & 8th Grade Goodbye-Celebration
On Friday, May 29th, Kindergarten & 8th Grade will have their final celebration together before 8th Grade graduates a week before us! It is already a 12:00p noon dismissal and there is no lunch, but we will be having an ice-cream sundae party and some activities to do to celebrate one last time together!  

Mon, June 8th - Kindergarten Park Day!
Our Kindergarten Class will be celebrating our amazing year with an annual celebration at Mas Fukai Park on Monday, June 8th. We will be walking to the park at 10am with our chaperones and teacher's assistants! 

Lunch, snacks, and drinks will all be provided for the class. We will be having pizza for lunch.

It will be a long day celebrating our last few days together as a Kindergarten class filled with bonding, games, water games, and laughter! I will be providing class t-shirts that will be passed out on Friday 6/5. (please see google doc to provide me with a size by 5/15)

After our day at the park, Kindergarten is allowed to be picked up by FROM the Mas Fukai Park. (Please see google form to authorize pickup). Any students who will NOT be picked up at the park will walk back to school at 2:30pm with Mrs. Garrido, Ms. Raquel, and our chaperones to stay at school for the remainder of the day at 3:00pm or until released to Day Care.

Any parents/chaperones who are VIRTUS TRAINED can come to the park with us and volunteer!

Kindergarten Promotion
Our last and final day of school for Kindergarten will be our Kindergarten Promotion on Wednesday, June 10th at 8:30am in the hall. Please refer to our promotion email for more details and information! 

Please be sure to clear any holds or balances that you may have on your student accounts ahead of time, or you will not be able to pick up your child's report card.
