Happy Week 9 Kindergarten!
Welcome back to our normal school schedule. I appreciate your support and collaboration during last week's Parent Conferences, as your assistance is essential to ensure the best for your child's academic success!
I'd like to share that today, we accepted a new student into our class. Our class roster is now at 29 students. We will welcome our new friend, Santiel into our class sometime this week! He is a transfer student from St. Catherine's. I hope that we can welcome Santiel and his family warmly into SAP. Please carefully read through this week's newsletter for reminders regarding this month!

As you know, there are some regulations on Halloween Costumes to align with our Catholic Church Values. Please ensure their costumes are appropriate for our K-8 School.
SAP Saint Report Project
Every year, all SAP Students complete a grade-level-appropriate Saint project on a set of saints that are chosen by Monsignor Sal. This year, our project is on Saints that are displayed around our St. Anthony of Padua Parish. Each student is assigned a specific saint to complete their project on. I am sending this project information and template home on Monday, September 21 for parents to familiarize themselves with the assignment. It will be due on Friday, October 23rd -- the Friday before All Saint's Day!
Kinder Field Trip to Aquarium of the Pacific
We will be going to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on Tuesday, October 20th! Please see the office to make your field trip payments. Our chaperones will be our 4 room parents, Ms. Raquel, and Myself. All students will be assigned a specific group (I will let you know which group later on). Parents, you are welcomed to join us by meeting us at the aquarium and purchasing your own tickets. Please be mindful that this is a school event, and your child must remain with their group the entire time. We will be taking a school bus and coming back to school on the school bus.
Many Blessings,
Mrs. Garrido
