I hope you had a good weekend. Here are some updates for this week:
MEET THE MASTERS TRAINING Tonight, we have our Meet the Masters training for parents in the 4th grade classroom from 6:30-8:30pm tonight. Thank you to all who volunteered and will be attending.
LION KING REHEARSAL 03/31 3-5PM Tomorrow, Tuesday March 31st Lion King Leads and Managers are called for rehearsal until 5:00pm.
SCHOOL MASS APRIL 1ST We will be having our All School Mass this Wednesday. All students are expected to be in Mass uniform. 7th grade can wear their PE uniform underneath their Mass uniform.
HOLY THURSDAY APRIL 2ND Grades K–8 will participate in our all-school Lenten Retreat. It is also the last day of school before Easter Break and there will be a NOON dismissal. There is NO DAYCARE offered on Thursday and NO school on Friday. Easter Break is next week.
LIVE STATIONS We want to take a moment to recognize our 8th graders for doing a beautiful job with our All School Live Stations of the Cross. Last Friday, Ms. Garcia and our 8th graders presented the Passion of Jesus in such a beautiful way.
ST MATH As we approach Easter Break it is important to check if you have met the goal of 84% Puzzle and 84% Journey. If not, you are expected to catch up on ST Math this week and during Easter Break. The next goal is 90% Puzzle due 04/17. This is the same week as the DC trip. All students (including those going to DC) will be required to meet the goal of 90% Puzzle, but will be excused from 90 minutes the week of 04/17. There is no goal this week. Therefore, I recommend 7th and 8th graders complete their goal of 90% Puzzle this week so they do not have to work during Easter Break.
YEARBOOKS SAP School Yearbooks are $50 for a hardcover yearbook. Please make checks payable to: St. Anthony of Padua School. Thank you to Ms. Alejandre and the Yearbook committee for their hard work.
DC TRIP The 7th and 8th graders will be going to Washington, DC April 13-17, so we pray for their World Strides trip, and send them all off with many blessings for a marvelous and memorable time. Mr. Aguilar and Ms. Genesis Garcia will be the main staff members leading the trip and chaperoning the students.
SOCIAL APRIL 25TH Finally, when we return from the break, we will be getting ready to celebrate a family social (dance) in the Hall on April 25! More information to come. We thank our planning committee for their hard work and commitment to having a fun night for our families.
